Palacio Real’s Paintings

Palacio Real's Paintings

The Palacio Real was also filled with handmade clocks, marble flooring, painted ceilings by Valeriano Becquer, who was helped by his brother Gustavo Adolfo, the poet, carpentry furniture, and largescale oil paintings from Velazquez and Goya. It was really great to see oil technique at that size and age. Aww-inspiring to say the least. Experiencing art takes many forms, but seeing it in person is something I need to do more of.
